Here is some information you might find useful. If you have any questions or need anything please do hesitate to contact us. We are excited you are playing TARG & want to make sure the show is successful and that you have loads of fun.

DAY OF THE SHOW
WHAT TO EXPECT: The House of Targ is a basement venue with low ceilings and a capacity of about 220. The stage is 10’ x 16’ with a low drum riser. Stage lighting is minimalist LED par lights controlled from the sound booth.
1) LOAD-IN: Load in anytime after 7pm.

2) EQUIPMENT STORAGE: Please store equipment neatly in the back equipment/dj room (NOT on or beside the stage please). Our Sound Wizard will arrive at 8pm to discuss tech requirements & prepare the stage. Also if you are staying over-nite, let us know and we can safely store your gear and arrange a pick-up time the next morning.
3) SOUND CHECK: Due to noise constraints WE ONLY SOUND CHECK THE OPENING BAND. Other bands on the bill will be line checked before their sets. On Fridays and Saturdays we can start setting up on the stage at 8:00 but NO NOISE UNTIL 9:00!!! On Wednesdays and Thursdays we can make noise after 8:00.
4) PARKING: TARG doesn’t have any official parking spots BUT the parking lot may be used (unofficially) after 8pm when the other businesses in the building close. Please check with a TARG bartender for details.
5) BACKLINE: Save yer Back! You are more than welcome to use our extensive back line including 2 4x12 Marshall cabs, an Ampeg SVT Bass amp & cab & Pearl Vision kit (House Backline listed on this page).
6) HAVE FUN: kick back and enjoy some classic arcade games & pinball before the show. All performers will receive staff discounts on handmade Perogies & drinks.
7) NEED SOMETHING SPECIAL? We are very flexible so if you require any special considerations, A/V setups, lodging suggestions, equipment etc - just let us know. We want your show to go off without a hitch.

Here are some proposed set times that work best at TARG. Please try to stick with these tired & true suggestions. If you need to deviate from these please let us know and we can try to accommodate you - no probs!
