OLD MAN GRANT (Ottawa Folk Trio)
Old Man Grant is a multi-instrumental trio from Ottawa, Ontario. Blending bluegrass, folk, and blues influences, their music is characterized by expressive, rhythmic playing and soaring three part harmony. From thunderous roars to the quietest whispers, their honest and emotional storytelling never fails to capture their listeners’ attention.
OLD TIME HONEY (MTL Folk/Cajun/Jugband)
Organic and raw, taking it back to the streets where good music began by defining their own jug band and Cajun sound. This artistic resurrection is a merry rebellion, born on the streets of Montreal, in the form of sultry piano and banjo (Aly), upright bass (Tyler), rocking and reeling violin riffs (Mélisande), layered on top of nostalgic washboard beats. Fans young and old agree, Old Time Honey’s soulful singing and danceable rhythms make for an unforgettable live music experience.
