is Ottawa’s newest hard-rocking heavy-funk outfit, paying appreciative tribute to the groundbreaking music of Funkadelic. The HARDCORE JOLLIES collective - assembled by guitarist Wayne Eagles - showcases the raw energy of Funkadelic’s iconic sound renowned for its ability to straddle the line between pure funk and psychedelia. Picking up from where James Brown started and Jimi Hendrix left off, Funkadelic created a new sound, image and dialogue in popular music. From their earliest experimental days to their latter more guitar-driven years, HARDCORE JOLLIES brings to the stage the absolute best of the legendary Funkadelic. enjoys making people dance with his sounds of Funk, Boogie, and Disco. His mixes are inspired by the likes of Brian Eno, Gil-Scott Heron, and Adrianne Lenker. He’s been performing for 7 years, and is an avid record collector.
DJ Boogaloo Jones (House/HipHop/Disco)
