ABOUT THIS BENEFIT
On September 19th, 2017 a magnitude 7.1 earthquake hit the town of Lourdes, Mexico. The aftershock of the earthquake rocked the capital of Mexico, Mexico City. 358 people were killed and hundreds of buildings were destroyed. With a close friend of The Ottawa Sound being from Mexico City, we decided to step up and hold a fundraiser to help the victims!
TOPOS MEXICO BENEFIT FOR MEXICO DISASTER RELIEF
Topos Mexico is a nonprofit rescue brigade made up of volunteers that was created after a 1985 earthquake. TOPOS MEXICO is a multidisciplinary group trained to deal with national and international disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, air and rail accidents, explosions and urban and forest fires.
