Renonce's debut album entitled Ombre was produced by Toronto-based industrial duo Odonis Odonis. . Influenced by the industrial musical movement of the late 80s (NIN, Einstürzende Neubauten, Ministry), the 6 gothic dance pieces are high tempo: Faille, Déjà morts, Avec violence, Lost cause, Goudron, dès l’aubre and Abri. The 4 other songs, La cité des sentences, Le passage de l’orage, Réalité and Fleuve, oscillate between more cinematic or dramatic atmospheres.
