STRANGE ANGELS (Ottawa Alt Rock)
The sound of the Strange Angels can only be described as a heavy mix of alternative, punk and hard rock. Their unique style draws upon their earliest musical influences such as The Stooges, Rolling Stones, Ramones, Wire, and the Sex Pistols to modern day influences such as Endless Boogie, BRMC, Black Mountain, Soft Kill and All Them Witches.
Members of the band were instrumental in helping create Ottawa's early Punk and Alternative Rock scene in the 80's and 90's with such bands The Insurrection, Spray Paint, The Foundation, Suppositories, Paisley Cowboys, and even international success with the band Roman Grey.
