THE RIFLE & THE WRITER (Brockville, ON Country)
The Rifle & The Writer is a Canadian Country music duo comprised of siblings Rebekka Paige and Colby Latocha, formed in early 2015. They have been performing together for the past 15 years in various Country bands. They recorded their debut album Flowers of Chance in Nashville, TN in 2016. Upon the release of the record, CBC Country declared them an emerging artist, granting them coast to coast rotation across Canada for their single "Gig & Colour" joining many other radio stations across North America supporting their new unapologetic Country sound.
Since then, they have performed at RBC Ottawa Bluesfest, CityFolk, CMW, and The Festival of Small Halls. They were finalists for IndieWeek 2017. Over the course of their music career, they have opened for acts such as Sam Outlaw, NQ Arbuckle, and many more. They are currently
